White Bay North Region: Cook's Harbour - Wild Bight

St. Anthony is the service centre and largest community in the White Bay North Region. It offers government, health, and retail services to many communities on the Northern Peninsula and Southern Labrador. Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital is located here and is a major employer in the region. Tourism is also an important industry with L'Anse au Meadows World Heritage Site, Iceberg Alley and the Grenfell Heritage Society all located in the region. The regional airport is located near St. Anthony, providing service to St. John's, Southern Labrador and Goose Bay. St. Lunaire-Griquet is a smaller service centre, catering to the small communities nearby.
